In
this composition Spartacus a seasoned Gladiator this time facing a new
challenger, an invisible and undefined opponent
Death is
the name, and there is no escaping from him no matter how good
you think you are.
The
real Spartacus was a freeborn provincial from Thrace,
who may have served as an auxiliary in the Roman army in Macedonia.
He deserted the army, was declared an outlaw, captured, sold
into slavery and trained as a gladiator at the gladiatorial
school of Baptists in Capua.
